The Faith Baptist Bible College women's basketball team hosted Union College of Lincoln, NE on December 4th. Faith lost the game 31-45. The Eagles are now 1-7 on the year.
The Eagles started off the game with a quick 6-0 lead, thanks to Jenna Bean's two consecutive three point makes. For the rest of the half, both teams struggled to make baskets as Union took the lead into halftime at 16-15. In the second half, Union was able to make shots that weren't falling for them in the first half. Faith got good looks, but was only able to add six more field goals to their score in the second half. Faith shot just 19% for the game. Jenna Bean was one bright spot on the night as she personally shot 50% leading the team in scoring with 14 points. Kelsey Grider had seven rebounds.
Faith's next game is December 8th in Minneapolis, MN vs. region opponent North Central University. That game will tip off at 1:00 PM.
