Ladies Fall to Emmaus

The Lady Eagles fell to first place MCCC opponent Emmaus Bible College Monday night. Faith had a rough night offensively as they would shoot 12-54 for the night from the floor. Emmaus was able to take a 21-7 lead by the end of the first quarter. Faith played a better second quarter, earning several stops defensively which they turned into points. Despite having a better second quarter, Emmaus still held a 33-17 lead going into halftime.

Faith's second half was much the same as the first as they were not able to score the ball after getting stops. Faith would only score 5 points in the third quarter, and 11 in the fourth quarter. Emmaus would win the game with a final score of 59-33. Laura Garwick led the way for Faith scoring 10 points and had 13 rebounds. Holly Shepard chipped in 9 points, and 4 assists. Faith will play their last regular season game before tournament play this Saturday vs. CCCB at home at 2:00pm.
