Lady Eagle's Outmatched by #4 Maranatha

After splitting their weekend games, the Lady Eagles returned to action this Monday to host #4 ranked Maranatha Baptist Bible College. Maranatha controlled the game throughout, defeating the Lady Eagles 7-0. Faith falls to 3-4-0 on the year with the loss.

Maranatha jumped on the Eagles almost as soon as the match began, scoring in the first 45 second to take an early 1-0 lead. They would add two more to the total before the half, leading 3-0 into the break. Maranatha outshot Faith 16-1 in the first session. The Lady Crusaders continued their relentless pressure in the second half, slipping four more goals past the Lady Eagle's defense before the game was over. Maranatha outshot Faith 28-2 in the game.

Faith is now off until next Tuesday, when they will host region opponent North Central University at 2:00 PM. The winner of that game will secure the #2 seed in the regional tournament, which will be hosted by Faith at the beginning of November.
