The Faith women's soccer team hosted the Manhattan Christian College Thunder on Thursday. The game was played in sloppy conditions as a huge rain fall had taken place the night before and day of the game. Manhattan was able to score early in just the third minute of the game to give the Thunder a 1-0 lead. The Thunder would create many more chances in the first half, but were unable to find the back of the net. The Eagles had little possession in the first half and had to really work hard defensively to keep the Thunder lead at only 1-0 going into halftime.
The Eagles struggled to get any offense going in the second half and were only able to put up 3 shots the entire game. Manhattan would increase their lead to 2-0 in the 58th minute. Later in the 76th minute the Thunder would another goal to give them a 3-0 lead which ended up being the final score of the game.
