Lady Eagles Make it Six out of Seven

The Lady Eagles volleyball team completed a great weekend of action during Faith's annual Homecoming celebration with a 3-0 sweep of visiting conference opponent Central Christian College of the Bible (CCCB). The win capped off a great day in which all three Eagles' teams won their Homecoming games. The win gave the volleyball team their sixth win in their last seven games. Faith is now 8-3 on the year and continues to hover just outside the NCCAA II Top Ten.

All three games of the match were similar, with each set remaining close early on, but finishing with the Lady Eagles pulling away for decisive victories. Game one saw the Lady Eagles record a .400 attack percentage en route to a 25-14 set win. Faith recorded 15 kills in the set. In game two, the Lady Eagles were tied at seven apiece, but then awoke to outscore the visitors 18-4 to record a 25-11 second set win. In set three, Faith trailed 6-7, but again exploded, outscoring CCCB 19-8 to grab the 25-15 set and match win.

Post recorded an attack percentage of .400, netting six kills and 13 digs. Larson also finished with a .400 attack percentage and six kills.
