The Faith men's soccer team ended the 2015 regular season at conference opponent Central Christian College of the Bible (6-7, 3-3 MCCC). The game started with the Eagles asserting themselves early as Andrew Young scored off a perfectly weighted pass behind the defense from Marcos Loveall in the 7th minute. Faith was able to increase there lead just before halftime as Riley Stuckey served in a dangerous ball from midfield that Alec Hraba bicycle-kicked to Young who put it in the net.
The Eagles were able to add a final goal in the 52nd minute when Young carried the ball past several defenders before laying it off to a wide on Chase Clark for his 15th goal of the year. Faith had a few close calls in the closing minutes but were able to maintain a clean sheet with the help of a goal line clearance by defender Jason Scheps.
The match ended with the Eagles setting a school record 12th regular season win with the 3-0 victory. The win helped Faith earn the second seed in the upcoming Midwest Christian College Conference tournament. Their first match will be Thursday, 10/22 at 3:30pm against tournament host Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO.
