Twelve Three-Pointers Too Much For Eagles to Overcome Against Central Christian

MOBERLY, Missouri—The Faith Eagles women's basketball team was on the wrong end of a hot shooting night by Central Christian College of the Bible Friday night as they fell on the road, 91-62.

Central Christian buried 12 three-pointers and had five players in double figures as they exacted revenge on the Eagles from a loss in Ankeny earlier this season.

Most of the damage was done in the first half by Central Christian as they drilled five three-pointers in the first quarter, and two more in the second quarter to build a 52-22 halftime lead.

Faith outplayed Central Christian in the second half, outscoring the Saints 40-39. Lyndi Shepard led the Eagles with 21 points on seven three-point baskets.

The Eagles hope to build off the second half momentum against Central Christian as they continue their road trip on Monday night in Lincoln, Nebraska, against Union College.
