2026 Track & Field Competition Schedule Announced
Ankeny, IA -- Faith Track & Field is set to begin their outdoor season in March, featuring five regular season meets leading up to the NCCAA National Championships taking place in Wilmore, KY.
Faith Track & Field will begin the 2026 outdoor season as the Eagles head to Pella, Iowa, for the Central Invitational taking place March 28th at the Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium on Central College's campus.
The Eagles will compete in their next four meets in April, featuring two mainstays as they travel to the Dick Young Invitational in Grinnell on April 11th, and a regular season finish at "home" on April 24th at the Viking Classic in Des Moines.
The Outdoor season will conclude in Wilmore, Kentucky, on the campus of Asbury University where the NCCAA National Championships will run Wednesday through Friday, May 6-8.
The 2026 season marks head coach Emily Banks' first season at the helm of the program. Last season, the Eagles sent seven athletes to the national championship meet (out of nine qualifiers), the largest number of qualifiers in recent program history. The Eagles also saw seven event wins throughout the outdoor season, 10 top 15 finishes at nationals, and the highest points total for the women's team at nationals in program history.
