The Lady Eagles volleyball team completed the season sweep of Union College this past Tuesday night, defeating visiting Union College 3-0. The Eagles are now 12-7 on the year.
Set one saw both teams trade points early, but with the game knotted at six apiece, the Eagles put together a 11-0 run to take a 10 point lead. From there the Eagles did not look back, winning set one 25-16. Set two was closer with Union taking an early lead. Faith battled back to take the lead, eventually winning the set 25-20 to take a 2-0 lead. Faith continued to roll in game three, taking an early lead and never looking back to win the game 25-17 and the set 3-0.
Faith returns to action this Saturday when they will travel to Moberly, MO, for a game with Central Christian College of the Bible in a Midwest Christian College Conference match. That game will tip at 2:00 pm.
