Eagles Earn Solid Win Over DIII Blackburn
Carlinville, IL -- Faith women's soccer earned their second shutout and fourth win of the season against NCAA DIII Blackburn College on Tuesday.

Eliana Fritz scored 40 seconds into the match off a long ball from Anna Scott, giving Faith the 1-0 lead on Tuesday. That goal would be the only one scored on the day, and the Eagles 1-0 lead would hold for 89 minutes to give them the win.
Blackburn pushed the Eagles defense the entire match, not allowing Faith to go on many offensive runs throughout the match. Megan Yuan anchored the defense, tallying 10 saves and earning the shutout and the Eagles fourth win of the season.
