Ankeny, IA -- Faith Women's Volleyball takes the road for the first of five straight games. The Eagles will compete against NCAA DIII Buena Vista University on Tuesday, September 2nd. First serve is set for 6:00 p.m. CT.
LAST TIME OUT
The Eagles began the 2025 season with a 3 set sweep of FLBC on Friday. All 15 rostered players saw the court, Codie Wirges and Morgan Fincham led the offensive charge, combining for 15 kills and 7 aces.
FAITH NOTES
- The Eagles finished the 2024 season with an 18-15 record, placing second at the MCCC tournament and winning back to back North Region championships.
- Faith reached the NCCAA National tournament for the third time in four years in 2024, and look to sustain their on-court success in 2025.
- The Eagles return 8 members from the 2024 squad, six of which started double-digit matches in 2024; Codie Wirges (33), Belle Wirges (33), Victoria Nerem (33), Maddie Hofmann (33), Grace Brower (33), and Alyssa Stephens (26).
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
Buena Vista enters Tuesday's competion with a 1-2 record. The beavers are led offensively by a young core, averaging 10 kills and just under two aces per set.
