Volleyball Splits Weekend Matches
Kansas City, KS -- Faith volleyball competed well against two ranked opponents over the weekend, falling to #5 Calvary in five sets and taking down #8 Ozark in three.

On Friday the Eagles took on Calvary in what would become a five set thriller that saw the Warriors come out on top after a close battle. Faith dropped the first two sets 20-25 and 22-25, but never let either set get too far out of reach, challenging each run the Warriors went on. The Eagles went on to win the next two sets 25-19, 25-18 and came close to completing the reverse sweep before falling 13-15 in the deciding set and ending the match 2-3 in favor of their opponent.
Saturday saw a different story as Faith won against Ozark in straight sets, 25-21, 25-22, and 25-19. After the weekend, Faith moves to 13-4 on the season and 2-2 in Conference standings, putting them at #4 in the MCCC behind Manhattan, Calvary, and Ozark.
