Faith Volleyball Closes Season With a Win
Joplin, MO -- The Eagles finished the 2025 season on a high note, with a 3-1 win over the #8 seeded Ozark Ambassadors to close out the tournament run.
The Eagles finished pool play, and their time at the National Tournament with one final match against Ozark, a team they had faced once in the regular season.
Faith took control of the first two sets early, and powered through to 25-19 and 25-17 set wins and the 2-0 lead on the match. Ozark would not go down without a fight, leaping to an early lead in the third set that they would not give up as they won 25-23. The Eagles stormed out to a dominant 25-15 set victory, closing out the match and their time at nationals with a win.
Codie Wirges and Morgan Fincham led the offensive efforts with 13 kills apiece, followed but Ellie Cooper and Belle Wirges with 11 and 10 kills respectively. Qwynn Nerem assisted on 43 of the team's 58 kills, and Maddie Hofmann, Victoria Nerem, Codie Wirges, and Qwynn Nerem all recorded double-digit digs, led by Hofmann's 24.
