Men's Soccer Secures #6 Ranking in NCCAA DII Coaches Poll
Ankeny, IA -- Following their hot start to the season, Faith men's soccer has earned their spot in the top ten rankings for the first time since 2021.
The Eagles have received votes a handful of times in the past four years, but were unable to break into the top ten until Tuesday's poll was released.
The ranking comes on the heels of a 3-0-1 start to the season with two straight shutouts coming against Barclay and Emmaus (RV at the time of play).
Throughout the four games, three Eagles have scored a goal while four have registered assists. Defensively, the backline combined with goalkeepers Enzo Pileggi and Zeke Denger have been efficient in protecting the net with 12 saves.
The #6 Eagles will play two matches this week against Union (9/23) and Calvary (9/26).
