The Eagles met the only other undefeated MCCC team (2-0-0 in Conference play) in what was sure to be a thrilling match when the CCCB Saints came to town.
The visiting Saints looked to control the tempo from the get-go, pushing the pace and physicality of the game from kickoff and creating eight first half shot opportunities to the Eagles three. Faith took their time to settle in, but handled the aggression well and matched the Saints speed for an entertaining, but scoreless first half.
The Eagles started the second half on the offensive, giving themselves a couple of scoring opportunities but neither team could find an opening early. CCCB scored the lone goal of the day in the 75th minute, as a perfectly placed free kick gave them the only opportunity needed. Faith continued battling through the final buzzer, but the Saints would ultimately walk away with the victory.
