Men's Soccer Finishes Week 2-0-1
Ankeny, IA -- Faith men's soccer played their fourth game in seven days, finishing the week strong with the shutout win over Trinity.

Austin Lundberg scored in the first minute of the match and then he scored again six minutes later, both goals coming from Noah Blomquist. Austin earned his second hat trick of the season from a PK in the 24th minute, giving the Eagles a 3-0 lead early on.
Blomquist added a goal to his assists in the 25th minute, rebounding a shot attempt for an easy tap-in. The Eagles took the 4-0 lead into halftime, and came out with all of the momentum. The Eagles earned one more goal, as a Trinity defender tipped a cross from Noah Blomquist and sent it into his own goal, giving the Eagles the 5-0 lead and eventual victory. Zeke Denger earned his third shutout of the season in Saturday's win.
The match allowed twenty available players to get heavy minutes and good experience as they head into the final regular season matches before postseason begins.
