The first few minutes of the match saw both teams vying for an advantage, but neither could find one early in what would become a high energy North Region matchup. The Eagles scored first, as Freshman midfielder Austin Lundberg found the back of the net in the 12th minute, scoring his first career goal and giving the Eagles a 1-0 lead. Faith would keep that lead all the way through the first half, as the score remained 1-0.
In the second half, both teams picked up the intensity, both hoping to earn their first win of the season. Crown would find the net just five minutes in, tying the match at one apiece. The Polars stayed on the offensive for a majority of the half, but the defensive line held for the Eagles through the final 40 minutes. Enzo Pileggi recorded 5 saves on the day, and high pressure from Ian Naughton and Austin Jordan forced the Polars to take tough shots down the stretch.
